A successful multi office agency and brand across Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey is currently looking for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to cover the Portsmouth area.
With a high level of warm leads readily available from the team of estate agents, you will have great scope and opportunity to write new business, with full administrative support provided to maximise service and availability to customers.
The Role
- Meeting with clients to assess individual circumstances and needs
- Seeking out the best financial and mortgage solutions for our customers from the whole mortgage market
- Selling associated insurance products
- Working closely with the residential estate agency team to ensure all business opportunities are maximised
- Provide coaching and support to colleagues to maintain a good referral rate
- Pro actively contacting an existing client data base as a source for new business
- Liaising with lenders to confirm product conditions are relevant for our customers
- Ensuring all documentation is compliant, correct and properly witnessed and signed in line with FCA guidelines
Qualifications/Experience
- CEMAP 1 (minimum) Qualified or equivalent or Competency Advisor Status (CAS)
- At least 1 years mortgage advisory experience
- Smart, articulate and well presented
- Ambitious and self-motivated with the ability to work in a pressurised environment
- Natural ability to work with customers with courtesy, honesty, trust and respect.
- Solid customer relationship building
- Full driving license

Please note that the working pattern is Monday to Friday in the office, 5 days per week including 2 Saturdays per month.
