Location - Farringdon

Salary - £20,000 - £24,000 per annum

Due to increased demand for our service we are looking to expand our team. If you are an experienced Recruitment Consultant or experienced in B2B sales and looking for your next challenge, we are looking for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our busy team in London.

You will be working with large clients on major infrastructure projects around the UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional that is hard working, ambitious and looking to carve out a recruitment career in an ambitious company with an excellent market reputation.

  • In this role you will be responsible for:
  • Source new candidates from jobsites, social media and other platforms using local market knowledge
  • Conducting the initial screening when dealing with new candidates, followed by registering the candidate to match the roles they are looking for
  • Understand and manage candidates' aspirations to ensure they find the right role
  • Focusing on candidate management throughout the recruitment process
  • Making sure that the candidates and clients always receive a professional and comprehensive recruitment service
  • Searching for and identifying job leads
  • Servicing pre-existing clients while sourcing new business.
  • Working towards and support with the growth of the business
  • Maintaining a positive attitude in the work place

Develop into:

  • Managing your own desk and be responsible for its growth in the contract market
  • Growth on our existing client base within the contract market
  • Offering market insights to both clients and candidates
  • Developing a business development strategy for new and current clients/sites
  • Bring on new clients and work into the business
  • Gain terms and places on preferred suppliers list for companies in our industry

Ingredients required to be successful in the role:

  • Willingness to learn and a keen interest in the recruitment market
  • Sales experience is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with all stakeholders of the business
  • Ability to operate under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
  • Goal orientated with a strong work ethic
  • Able to work flexibly as part of a team
