Role: Management Accountant – Global Advertising Agency
Paying £50,000 - £55,000
Based: Central London
TalentEdge are currently working with a leading independent global advertising agency who are looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their established finance team during this period of exciting growth.
This role is a great opportunity for a bright, up and coming and ambitious individual looking to develop their career in finance. You will be a integral & active member of the finance team as this role combines both Management Accounts and Commercial responsibility, making this role a fantastic opportunity for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting documents in a timely manner
- Month End responsibilities include: Revenue postings, Accruals and Prepayments of costs, Balance Sheet Reconciliations acting as the go to person for month end
- Assist key senior stakeholders with preparation of forecasts, budgets and KPI analysis
- Business partnering with key non financial stakeholders across the business
- Working closely with external auditors
- Pulling together Management Accounts with client and project analysis
- Supervise and mentor junior members of the team
- Carry out other ad hoc duties as required
The Ideal Person:
- Newly qualified ACCA or CIMA
- Experience preparing and producing management accounts
- Transferable industry experience is essential ideally from an agency background
- Strong commercial acumen
- Basic understanding of FP&A
- Strong Excel skills
- A proactive and driven individual who is eager to learn and develop their skill set
- Excellent communication skills, working with both finance and non finance stakeholders
