HR Administrator

We are excited to represent a growing client in Sussex who is currently seeking a dedicated HR Administrator to join their team on a 3-month temporary contract. This role is essential for supporting the HR department with the day-to-day management of HR operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in HR practices and employee management.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Assist with the recruitment process by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks, and issuing employment contracts.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Review and update HR policies and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data, such as absences, bonuses, and leaves.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Organise quarterly and annual employee performance reviews.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organising team-building activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant, or relevant role.
- Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS.
- Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular).
- Thorough knowledge of labor laws.
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to prioritise important projects.
- Strong phone, email, and in-person communication skills.
- BSc/BA in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant field; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
