We are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Middlesbrough. For this job, the successful candidate will work for 8 hours per week on a long-term temporary basis.
Your new role
- Supporting the teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons- Assisting in the preparation of classroom resources
- Supporting students on a one-to-one or small group basis
- Helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to the teacher
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar role- A good understanding of the National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Relevant qualifications are preferred however, not essential
