Position OverviewAs a Process Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting our projects and initiatives aimed at improving public services. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to identify needs, analyse processes, and develop solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to public service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering: Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and document business requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyse, and interpret data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate and redesign business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and project reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Facilitate meetings and workshops with stakeholders to gather input and feedback.
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with multiple departments to develop and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Reporting: Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all solutions and processes comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience: Experienced as a business analyst or in a related role, preferably within the public sector.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyse data and processes, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and project management software.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and innovative approach to addressing challenges.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
