General Factory Operative
Gi Group Scarborough are seeking a General Factory Operative to join our clients well established business in the Eastfield Area.
Our client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of high quality glazed units.
Hours: Monday to Friday, no weekend work!
Rate: £11.44 PH
Various shift patterns are available, such as Mornings, Afternoon and Nights.
Responsibilities:
- Lifting of Glass Panels.
- Working in a manufacturing environment
- Day to day production tasks as directed by Supervisor, including operating machinery, assembly, final assembly, etc. to quality standards.
- Ability to perform internal manufacturing procedures.
- Assist with housekeeping as needed
- Be flexible in performing different duties around the factory.
- Adhere to Health & Safety and Company rules
- Any other general factory tasks
Candidate Specification:
- Physically fit, able to work with a large number of heavy items
- Team player but able to work on own initiative
- Calm in manner, with ability to demonstrate good level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise changing workloads
- Can-do flexible attitude to meet increased volumes and peak seasons
