Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading North London based client to recruit for a Construction Buyer/Planner.
Responsibilities:
- Working on existing systems to manage procurement activities
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure optimum pricing and terms
- Plan inventory levels to maintain optimal stock holding.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Buying role from the construction sector, candidates with experience from an off-site manufacturing business will also be considered.
- Previous experience with stock control and the associated use of planning systems.
- Good organisational skills.
- Ability to analyse and data and use it to make informed purchasing decisions.
