Location: Randox Science Park, 30 Randalstown Road, Antrim, BT41 4FL.
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent, Onsite.
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What does the IT Software Tester role involve?

Working at the cutting edge of technology and innovation, Randox IT develop software products for Randox customers globally. You will get first-hand experience and be involved in the full development lifecycle from initial design to the release of the final product. The successful candidate will become part of the IT Software Testing Team, testing large web-based projects, built using C#, ASP, Angular and SQL Server.

Who can apply?

Essential criteria:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or Computer Science discipline (2:1 or above) or relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of software testing process' and testing methodologies: V-Model, Waterfall and Agile.
  • The ability to work independently.
  • The ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • The ability to prioritise workload.
  • Professional attitude towards learning and development.

Desirable criteria:

  • ISTQB Certification
  • 2 years' experience in a software testing role.
  • Experience working with scripting languages such as Java or C#
  • Experience of an issue reporting tool: Microsoft DevOps, Bugzilla or HPQC.
  • Automated framework: Selenium, Java/TestNG
  • Software development lifecycle and OWASP SAMM
  • Use of Blackbox (functional, non-functional regression) and Whitebox (code coverage analysis)
  • Experience with any of the following: Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform, Microsoft DevOps, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL and Angular
