Join Our Team: Director Level HR & Organisational Development Opportunities

Following a reorganisation, St George's, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group (GESH) are looking to fill three senior HR and organisational development opportunities.

Within a wider team of five, these roles report directly to the Group Chief People Officer, forming the People Function's SLT and sharing accountability for delivery of our People Strategy and five strategic objectives:

As a collective of passionate senior leaders with extensive experience leading highly respected services, you'll possess a strong and nurturing leadership style, combined with a high level of ability to make strategic, evidenced based decisions, which will allow you to lead your specialist teams through this exciting period of change.

1. Director of Organisational Development and Culture

Be instrumental in leading our efforts to create a vibrant, inclusive culture. You'll drive equality, diversity, and inclusion while enhancing employee engagement, talent management and fostering a high-performance environment.

2. Director of Workforce Transformation

Leading the charge in transforming our People function through innovation and continuous improvement, you'll oversee key services and contracts, and support our teams in delivering exceptional, value-driven outcomes.

Both of these roles can be based at either Epsom & St Helier Hospitals or St. George's Hospital, with regular travel across GESH sites.

3. Site Director of People (St. George's Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust)

In this role, you'll shape the future of St. George's Hospital by developing site-specific people strategies, collaborating closely with the Executive team to align our goals and provide the best conditions for our staff to thrive. This role is primarily based at St. George's Hospital, with travel to other sites as needed.

We offer flexible working for all roles.

These roles offer a unique and exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a large NHS organisation, supporting a dedicated workforce of 17,000 to be at their best, so that we can continue to deliver cutting-edge services and the best possible care.
