My client is established in the supply, maintenance and repair of quarry plant machinery throughout the North of England. Due to increasing demand, they are actively looking for a Field Service Engineer to provide in the yard and onsite support to sites throughout the North of England and Wales. The successful Candidate will have a background in heavy plant machinery maintenance. You must also be happy to travel to site as required and have a Full UK Driving Licence.
**Field Service Engineer
Position Overview
- Fault finding, diagnosis, maintenance and repair
- Working on tracked quarry plant machinery
- Working both onsite and in the yard
- Onsite setup and commissioning of machinery
- Receiving product training on company specific machinery, including training courses in Europe
- Travelling to sites mainly in the North of England and Wales, with occasional nights away not more than once a month.
**Field Service Engineer
Position Requirements
- A background in heavy plant engineering is essential (e.g. dumpers, rollers, diggers etc.)
- Hands on experience with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems
- Mechanical engineering qualifications
- CSCS Card
- Happy to travel for the role, with occasional nights away
- Quarry passport is a bonus
- UK Driving Licence
- Based within commutable distance of Winsford, Cheshire. Engineers slightly further away considered
**Field Service Engineer
Position Remuneration
- Salary £37,000 - £45,000 Depending on experience
- Annual bonus based on personal and company performance
- Overtime available paid at a standard hourly rate
- Hours Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00, no weekends
- Holiday 22 day's plus Bank Holidays. Rising to 25 days after 5 years service
- Company van, fuel card and phone provided
- Overalls and PPE
