I am currently partnering with a leading health club brand with clubs across the North of England and Wales. This organisation is looking for recruit an Employee Engagement Specialist to join on a permanent basis.

Reporting into the Head of People.

Direct reports are the Learning and Development Manager.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 PA with free membership plus one free membership and discounted family and friends, discounted café and retail purchases, development and training offerings and monthly free lunch.

Location is based in Wilmslow but occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Monday to Friday on site 9:00 am to 5:30 pm – once established you are able to work one day from home per week.

The Role:

Structure, formalise, activate, and grow all development activities and initiatives that demonstrate our Employer Promise – More is Possible.

Responsibilities:

  • Activate our Employer Promise "More is Possible" through the formalisation and development of our EVP delivery plan. The delivery plan spans L&D, engagement, and communication initiatives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy continuing to bring our employee value proposition to life.
  • Be forward thinking and always aware of what is happening across our industry and beyond to help us stay ahead of the curve.
  • You will play a crucial part in listening to the organisation's development requirements and identify training needs. Advising the Senior Leadership Team of how we can make more possible for our team members.
  • Design, plan, implement and evaluate learning programmes that address critical skill gaps and support career development.
  • Work on possibility development focused projects, a modular based learning matrix and allowing organic growth opportunities for our people.
  • Introduce innovative approaches, including digital learning solutions, to enhance the effectiveness of training initiatives.
  • Supervising, mentoring, and leading the L & D Delivery Manager. Collaborating with the Possibility Development Team - offering hands-on coaching and guidance where needed. Ensuring that all training is quality assured before rollout within the organisation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • Candidates must have senior level experience within L&D
  • CIPD member or equivalent
  • Coaching qualification desirable
  • You will have a proven record of excellent communication, coordination, the ability to prioritise a busy workload and strong influencing skills.
  • Demonstrable experience working cross functionally with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience of designing training programmes that maximise engagement.
  • You will be a problem solver, adaptable and have a clear appreciation of the power of a well-activated EVP.
