People and Recruitment Assistant

Our client based in Barry is seeking an enthusiastic, proactive, and driven, People and Recruitment Assistant to join their team. This position is perfect for someone who is looking to develop their skills and knowledge further within Human Resources and Recruitment.

This position requires someone with prior experience supporting recruitment and administrative duties. This position is a fix term contract, that offers flexible working and comes with a salary ranging from £24,000 to £28,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating job descriptions and post relevant information to job boards.
  • Support the compliance and onboarding process, alongside supporting the beginning of the employee lifecycle.
  • Dealing with candidate enquiries and applications.
  • Support with general administrative duties, alongside data entry
  • Offer an engaging, effective, and consistent experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with other members of team and company.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience supporting recruitment and administration.
  • Strong prioritisation, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Experience supporting onboarding and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience of writing job descriptions and job adverts.
