Based in modern recently expanded facilities close to London's Heathrow Airport, is Europe's largest specialist manufacturer of laminated shims, polyimide shims, solid shims, sheet materials, fillers, packers, detailed parts, machined parts, panels, spacers and assemblies.
The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Quality Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will assist in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained in all production processes. This role involves monitoring and evaluating the quality of products, identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively with various departments to implement effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Document and report non-conformances and track corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive measures.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus.
