Freelance Copywriter - Internal communications

Contract: 3-4 days per month rolling contract

Location: Remote working (occasional meetings in London or Manchester)

Day rate: £350-450pd

Our high growth Client is an award-winning Cloud Hosting and Managed Service provider that creates value through technology transformation

They are looking for a Freelance Internal Communications Copywriter to join them on a freelance basis to create engaging internal content.

The role:

  • Write and edit a variety of internal communications, including emails, newsletters, announcements, social media, Town Hall agendas and outcomes,
  • Develop engaging content that informs, inspires, and motivates employees.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to gather information and create targeted communications.
  • Ensure all communications are consistent with the company's tone, style, and brand guidelines.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of internal communications.
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications from an hR perspective and suggest improvements.
  • Manage and update content on the company intranet and other internal platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate them into our communications strategy.

The person:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a copywriter in internal communications.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong understanding of communication principles and best practices.
  • Ability to create engaging and clear content tailored to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • High level of creativity and adaptability.
