Reed Education is on the lookout for a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a dynamic secondary school in Bromley. Day to Day of the role
- Foster inclusion and acceptance of all students, establishing constructive relationships and setting challenging expectations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of individualised support plans.
- Encourage student interaction and participation in teacher-led activities.
- Provide feedback on student progress and assist with routine tests and marking.
- Support teachers with planning and administration, maintaining a structured learning environment.
- Implement learning activities and use ICT to enhance student learning.
- Prepare and maintain educational resources and equipment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role is desirable.
- Understanding of child safeguarding principles.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
