We are seeking an Accounts Administrator to join our established finance team. The ideal candidate will be a key player in maintaining our back-of-house systems and ensuring the smooth operation of our purchase and sales ledgers.

Day to day of the role:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for client enquiries via email or telephone.
  • Prioritise and enter purchase invoices into in-house system
  • Process accounts data to ensure KPI compliance and timely invoice processing.
  • Match purchase orders with jobs and supplier invoices.
  • Manage invoice requests flow following engineering visits.
  • Update and maintain back-of-house systems with accuracy and precision.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns.
  • Perform transactional reconciliations and maintain purchase & sales ledger.
  • Liaise with the service team and other colleagues for operational support.
  • Maintain contractor ledger and follow up on outstanding job sheets and invoices.
  • Resolve queries on purchase invoices through coordination with internal teams and external suppliers/contractors.
  • Undertake ad-hoc administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and precision in data entry.
  • Strong IT skills
  • Experience in handling purchase and sales ledgers is preferred.

Benefits:

  • Salary between £24,000-£28,000 DOE
