CNC Lathe Setter / Operator
Meridian is seeking a hands-on and enthusiastic CNC Turner to join their client's team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate should be able to work from technical drawings with minimal supervision. The company offers a great working environment, with recent significant investments in machinery and training/progression opportunities for staff. Experience with setting and operating Fanuc-based CNC lathes, particularly bar feeder lathes using multi-axis tooling, will also be advantageous.
Hours of Work:
Monday - Thursday 2pm - 11.00pm

The Role of the
CNC Lathe Setter / Operator:
- Set and operate CNC lathes.
- Working to engineering drawings to produce components from predominantlystainless steel bars
- Inspect work for proper dimensions and be able to document results
- Working to production plans to meet production targets and KPIs
Experience required for CNC Lathe Setter / Operator:
- Experienced in working with CNC lathes.
- Experience of setting and operating machines using either Fanuc or similar controls is essential for this role
- Competent use of gauges and tooling
- Experience in minor offset / program adjustments
