Impression Recruitment are delighted to be representing one of the fastest growing businesses in Harrogate, assisting them in their search for

a Commercial Team Manager

on a permanent, full-time basis. Our client is a leader in their market within the UK and have quickly made an impact across their sector, allowing them to establish strong, mutually beneficial client relationships. They are now looking for an experienced Team Manager with strong leadership abilities to guide, motivate and develop their internal commercial business development team. You will have strong client management abilities, as your role will be vital in ensuring that any new business opportunities are assessed and converted. Your team will consist of a diverse range of professionals, and you will lead them to achieving the highest quality of work whilst ensuring that business and personal objectives are met. This position does require high level Excel skills and the ability to interpret data and reports effectively.

Commercial Team Manager Duties:

  • Ensure that clear and achievable targets/objectives are set for your team, whilst guiding and motivating them to achieve them.
  • Complete insightful commercial analysis reports.
  • Take the lead on proposal budgeting by creating accurate and competitive budgets by applying the correct analysis techniques.
  • Arranging meetings with prospective clients to tender for business.
  • Ensure that any risks and issues the business faces are identified and mitigated.
  • Promotion of all business services to potential clients and partners when possible.
  • Work alongside colleagues and internal stakeholders to ensure that all won business opportunities are handed over correctly.
  • Managing client queries and ensuring client appraisals are completed/delivered.
  • Develop pricing and cost models, ensuring that risks and potential opportunities are highlighted.
  • Ensure your team are completing their allocated business development and commercial duties to the correct standards.
  • Respond to and action any request for proposals.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and confident in being able to take the initiative to make key business decisions.
  • Highly capable of managing, motivating and developing teams.
  • Positive, go getter attitude with an enthusiasm for achieving growth.
  • High level Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables etc).
  • Able to manage and deliver on a complex, detail orientated workload

As Commercial Team Manager you will receive a salary of between

£45,000 - £50,000

per annum! Our client offers a hybrid working model of 3 days in the office and 2 from home as well as a holiday entitlement of 25 days plus bank holidays, as well as an extra day off on your birthday!
