General Manager required for our prestigious client, a food led Inn with rooms, located in the Dover, Kent countryside. Please note transport is required due to location.
As General Manager you will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of the property and candidates are sought with a strong food led Inn / gastro pub with rooms / fine dining restaurant or similar background. This is a front of house role, which will include managing the bedroom bookings and food and beverage service.
For the opportunity of General Manager, our client is looking for a candidate who has excellent customer service skills to ensure guest satisfaction in order to maximise revenue for this property. You will be responsible for recruitment / training / supervision and development of your team to ensure good teamwork and a happy environment. You will also have good financial awareness and sales skills. You will ensure that all statutory legislation including Health and Safety are complied with.
The role will also include being on the floor engaging with your clientele and your team during service times. You will be working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis which does include week-ends.
The salary for General Manager given as iro £40,000 / per annum / plus a share of the gratuities / Live out only / Transport is required due to location and shift work.
