Office Angels are currently recruiting for an Admissions and Admin Assistant for our client based in Ascot.

Job Title: Admissions and Admin Assistant

Location: Ascot

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Working Pattern: Permanent, Term Time (plus 10 days), 8:30-16:30 Monday to Friday

About Our Client:

Our client is a private day and boarding school located in Berkshire, providing exceptional education to children aged 4-18 from Reception to Sixth Form. With a strong focus on academic excellence and holistic development, our client offers a supportive and nurturing environment for students to thrive.

Responsibilities:

As an Admissions and Admin Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the Admissions office in the entire process of pupil recruitment, from initial contact to induction. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for prospective parents and agents, providing excellent customer service and support throughout the admissions process.
  • Conducting school tours and interviews for prospective pupils and parents, showcasing our client's facilities and values.
  • Assisting with the organisation and attendance of admissions events, open days, and agent visits.
  • Maintaining close contact with parents during the admissions process, answering inquiries, and providing regular updates.
  • Coordinating language assessments and interviews for international students.
  • Collaborating with various departments within our client's organisation, such as Accounts and Additional Learning Needs, to ensure a seamless admissions process.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in an education or admissions-related role.
  • Previous experience in a busy sales office or customer service-oriented role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Accurate data entry skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and promotional activities.
  • Familiarity with SEN (Special Educational Needs) and the ability to provide information and support to parents would be desirable

Technologies:

  • Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with CRM software and database management.
