Receptionist - Hotel - temp or perm

RECEPTIONIST required for a hotel located in the Ashford area. This hotel is open to a temporary receptionist in the interim period, whilst the recruitment process is ongoing, in order to recruit a permanent member of the reception team

Transport is required due to location and shift work should you live in the local area, however live in is available at the hotel, if you are happy to relocate.

As RECEPTIONIST, candidates require hotel reception or retail / hospitality customer service experience. We are looking for a person who has ideally worked within a hotel, however training would be provided.

As RECEPTIONIST, you will ensure the effective running of the hotel reception desk whilst on duty, achieving consistently high standards of service and maximum guest satisfaction. You will require good administration / communication skills, answering the telephone / taking messages, computer record work, guest check in and check out.

Shifts are 7am - 3pm and 3pm - 11pm

37.5 hour contract a week (on site 40 hours a week as half an hour is your unpaid break) working 5 says over a 7-day period, and this includes working late and early shifts and week-ends on a rota, working on hotel reception in a customer facing role.

The salary for RECEPTIONIST is given as £11.74 / hour / plus other company benefits. Transport is required due to location and shift work should you live in the local area, however live in is available at the hotel if required (for both the temporary contract or the permanent role), if you are happy to relocate.
