We have partnered with a fast growing globally recognised sports business as they look to strengthen their finance function by bringing on board a strong part-qualified FP&A Manager.
As a FP&A Manager your responsibilities will be to business partner both departments and events, acting as the go between of Finance and the Business.
The role will be budget controlling and forecasting for departments and events, and preparing financial and business-related analysis. You will also be ensuring month-end closes on time.
Responsibilities:
- Budget control and forecasting for allocated departments and events
- Dashboard reporting including variance analysis
- Finance business partnering allocated business areas
- Month-end close of allocated business areas
- Cash flow forecasting and other FP&A related tasks
- Ad hoc business case/analysis
Requirements:
- Part qualified - ACCA / CIMA
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong but adaptable presentation skills
- Technical accounting skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Good understanding of accounting principles
- Working knowledge of accounting systems, SAP Business ByDesign advantageous
- Strong skills/knowledge of Excel
- Knowledge and practical experience regarding basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Word
