About the Role:
Career Teachers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join our team in the City of Derby. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to support students in managing their behaviour and achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with behavioural needs.
- Assist in the planning and implementation of behaviour management strategies.
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support student development.
- Participate in school activities and events.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with behavioural needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to supporting student success.
- Relevant qualifications or training in behaviour management (preferred but not essential).
