Imagine having a neatly defined career path from day one? Get to know the business doing purchase and sales ledger, add in some banking and assisting on month end but in a years time know you'll be responsible for cost analysis, additional reporting and even some statutory accounts for good measure.
Working in a team of 3, you will sit under the close wing of the Company Accountant and assisting the Accounts Assistant at first will you learn about the company and get to know each department and exactly what they do. Using SAP daily but Excel will be your best friend, already hot on v look ups and pivot tables and constantly trying to figure out ways to automate processes and make everyones life easier.
Key skills:
- AAT level 3 or above is essential
- Intermediate Excel with confidence using v look ups, pivot tables as a minimum
- Experience of purchase and sales ledger with confidence to grow
- Excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
You will be in their Lenton based offices 5 day a week, as that's the quickest way to learn in the Finance Managers eyes. You'll get flexi hours so if you are a morning person, or prefer to kick off your day a bit later on, as long as you work your 40 hours, you manage your own schedule.
