Payroll Officer
Our client is currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join their team on a full-time basis. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely payment to the employees of our client's organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the smooth running of the payroll process and provide crucial support to the business.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the main point of contact, handling daily communications such as emails, telephone calls, and other correspondence.
- Collect and organise monthly submissions using Excel via email.
- Process and input all necessary information for employee payments.
- Generate reports to assist in business planning.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist colleagues with any payment-related queries.
- Collaborate with outside bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Previous experience in payroll is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of HR and Payroll systems, such as ADP, Sage, or Core HR, is essential.
