Dynamite Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a well-established business based in Southampton, reporting into the Head of Finance on a permanent basis. This role will be responsible for preparing financial information and reporting within the group function.
The Role:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliation
- Identifying discrepancies and providing a solution
- Support with all aspects of sales and purchase ledger
- Work closely with the Head of Finance with ad hoc tasks
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Studying towards or completed an AAT qualification
- Strong understanding of double entry – essential
- Able to prioritise workload
