Mechanical Site Supervisor

Are you looking for a new role as a Mechanical Site Supervisor in the water industry? Are you passionate and ready to make a positive change? If so, then read on!

I am looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to work in the Kent and Sussex area. The perfect applicant will have knowledge and experience working on projects within wastewater or water treatment.

Role: Site Supervisor- Mechanical

Location: Tunbridge Wells

Contract: Freelance

Rate: £400-£420 per day

Duties will include:

  • Support the Site Manager in maintaining a safe working environment
  • Ensure that all relevant HS&E documents are correctly recorded and reviewed when received
  • Check that all relevant documents adequately describe the work to be carried out
  • Review and comment on Method Statements and Work Instructions
  • Supervise work to ensure that it is carried out in accordance with Method Statements and Work Instructions
  • Record the progress of the works on record drawings
  • Record all non-conformance and improvement opportunities

Skills Required:

  • Several years experience of working in the Energy sector. Understands pipework fabrication, welding and erection. Recognises quality welding. Can punch and snag pipelines in accordance with Isometric, GA and P&ID drawings.
  • HNC / HND in Mechanical Engineering or good apprenticeship in pipework and welding along with experience
  • SSSTS
  • CSCS
  • First Aider
