Successful and prominent South Kent firm of Chartered Accountants now has a fantastic new opportunity for an experienced Practice bookkeeper that can also prepare small, limited year-end accounts.
They deliver a thriving outsourced offering that includes: bookkeeping, VAT/CIS returns, management accounts and bookkeeping.
Joining this firm as a Practice Bookkeeper based at their offices in central Tonbridge, you will carve a key, hands-on role, as you develop within this firm and environment.
Acting for varied sole traders, partnerships and limited company SMEs and OMBs of varying size and industry sectors, you will deliver bookkeeping, support with management accounts, VAT, and other services to mixed clients.
- Preparing financial data up to trial balance
- Double-entry bookkeeping and bank reconciliations
- Prepayments and accruals
- VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory year-end accounts
Requirements
- AAT qualified, studying, or qualified by experience
- Strong Xero, Sage 50 or QuickBooks software experience
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure with limited supervision.
