Teaching Assistants are pivotal to the success in the classroom and provide a great deal of support for teachers, therefore the successful candidate will be able to establish strong working relationships with staff and students alike.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
- Have experience of supporting teaching and learning in primary schools
- Support teaching and learning on both 1-1 and classroom basis in KS1 and KS2
- Be an enthusiastic individual who can show initiative and enjoys working with children
- Be resilient and solution-focused in engaging children's learning
- Experience with SEN children not essential but an advantage, opportunities with SEN-working available
