Account Manager

We are recruiting an Account Manager to join our growing team at Healix Health. The role is advertised both in Esher (Surrey) and Bristol and the successful candidate will need to visit both offices. The role will be hybrid.

Reporting to the Head of SME, the Account Manager will work closely with the Business Development Team and the Head of SME to achieve the business objectives and financial targets. You will be responsible for activities associated with Healthcare Trusts including our Multi-employer trust offering and ConneX.

The main tasks within this role will be to maintain and develop existing accounts as well as building effective working relationship with our intermediary partners, using consultative and resourceful methods, along with robust data to enhance our offerings and benefit profitably, within a competitive marketplace.

The role will require close working relationships with key internal stakeholders; Data & Pricing, Finance, Operations and the Clinical Support Team.

This diverse role will require a high performing, influential and entrepreneurial individual with the enthusiasm and confidence to deliver across many commercial disciplines and audiences.

The job holder will be expected to create and maintain a healthy internal and external perception, and network in order to promote Healix and our capabilities professionally.

About The Role

Key activities/Responsibilities:

  • Manage, maintain, and develop Healthcare Trust accounts.
  • Build effective working relationships with our intermediary partners.
  • Develop relationships with clients and intermediaries to generate new income for Healix.
  • Oversee and project-manage the renewal process for clients, ensuring all internal and external stakeholders are involved and aware of requirements.
  • Retain and develop healthy relationships with all external account owners (generally HR, Finance and/or procurement teams).
  • Ensure an excellent commercial knowledge of client businesses and sectors (knowing your client's business). Research and keep up to date with any commercial or industry news/ changes.
  • Keep topical and ensure a good knowledge of general political agendas/focusses, as well as those affecting the healthcare sector and client sectors.
  • Present capabilities to clients, through direct communication, virtual and face to face meetings, telephone calls and emails, representing Healix at industry events, conferences and trade shows.Ensure all forms of presentation are tailored to the audience.

Marketing/Commercial

  • Support and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Understand the markets, changes, requirements and trends.
  • Ensure market awareness including competitor activities, utilising ideas where appropriate.
  • With guidance from the Head of SME, ensure attendance at appropriate industry events.
  • Ensure all marketing, (new business pitches, presentations, events, seminars) are delivered competently and efficiently, in alignment with our brand, and are always tailored to the audience.
  • Work with colleagues and key stakeholders to identify routes to market via RFPs or tenders, ensuring we are positioned and understood correctly.
