We have an exciting opportunity for a Kitchen Assistant to work for one of our clients, who are an educational provider based in Ramsgate. In this role you will be working 09:00am - 14:30pm, on a temporary basis, Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- You will be responsible for cleaning communal areas including sinks, corridors, kitchens, showers, and toilets.
- Will be required to use cleaning equipment such as an industrial floor cleaner, therefore there will be an element of heavy lifting.
- Ensuring all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Report any damages or risks to supervisors, adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices.
Skills and Experience:
- Physical endurance to stand for extended periods, lift and carry heavy trays or equipment, and perform repetitive tasks associated with food preparation and service.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
- Must have good time management and organisational skills
Requirements:
- MUST have an Enhanced DBS that was issued within the last three years
- Must have previous experience within the catering industry.
