Housing Disrepair Solicitor
£32,000 - £42,000 DOE

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established Legal 500 legal firm based in Liverpool, and my client is offered a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate with the right experience to join the Litigation department within Housing Disrepair.
I am looking for a confident, self-motivated, driven and experienced person to fill the role of Housing Disrepair Litigation Executive. Both Solicitors and experienced Fee Earners welcome;
Responsibilities:
- Document checking/vetting claims;
- Competently liaising with clients/Defendants/Third Parties;
- Drafting of Letters of Claims, Pre Action Applications and advice letters to clients;
- Calculating damages;
- Drafting proceedings including but not limited to Particulars of Claims, Replies to Defence, Witness, Statements, trial bundles;
- Experience of dealing with costs would be beneficial but not essential;
- Working to deadlines;
- Running a case load of 50% litigated cases
- Advocacy experience would be beneficial but not essential;
- Providing a high level of client service
You must have previous Housing Disrepair experience and be able to handle your own caseload from start to finish for this role! In return the firm offers hybrid working, career progression and a great benefits package!
