Broking Assistant

We are recruiting for a Broking Assistant to provide an excellent claims handling service and support to customers.

Responsibilities:

    • To provide support to colleagues to ensure we exceed the Company's expectations on renewal retention.
  • To provide general administrative support to colleagues, including credit control, Acturis updates and ensure PIB's Quality Assurance and due diligence measures are all met.

  • Ensure efficient office management and general housekeeping

  • Promote Arlington's reputation within the sector through attending any relevant functions/seminars where applicable

  • Maintain client records on Acturis

  • Emails to Clients and Insurers stored into Electronic File

  • Maintain PIB Quality Assurance procedures in relation to evidence of cover, contract certainty and treating customer fairly.

  • Invoicing

  • Prepare and report to Account Executive the Clients' Credit Control position

  • To communicate Engineering Inspection Reports to Clients when they are received from the different Insurers (currently Zurich, Allianz and Brit).

  • Manage provision of management information from nominated Loss Adjusters / Insurers

  • Diary and chase insurers and customers to ensure a swift and optimum settlement

  • Keep the Account Executive informed of large notifications and any trends.

  • Update Acturis.

  • Ensure efficient office management and general housekeeping.

  • Writing & Dispatching routine letters/emails

  • Answering general telephone queries

  • Photocopying and scanning documents

  • Opening post

  • Maintaining a tidy office and working environment

  • To maintain adequate levels of office stationery and ensure is stored tidily.

  • To welcome and to host any visitors to the Arlington office.

  • Paying in Cheques

  • Promote Arlington's reputation within the sector through attending any relevant functions/seminars where applicable

Skills/Experience Required:

  • Five GCSEs Grades C and above
  • Three A Levels Grades C and above desirable
  • Confident Communication skills
  • Ideal for a school/college leaver
