Reed Education are currently looking for a Design and Technolgy Teacher to join a brilliant school based within Bolton. This is a full-time cover role with an immediate start. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology (DT) Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and innovative lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring them to develop their skills and creativity in Design and Technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality DT lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the DT curriculum.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the overall student experience.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in Design and Technology education.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Design and Technology or a related subject.
- Experience teaching DT at the secondary school level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Design and Technology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
