Warehouse Planner
Corby
Shifts - 4 on/4 off 12 hours day shift
Salary - up to £32k
Our client, a leading global logistics company based in Corby, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Planner to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and co-ordinating all logistical activities to ensure smooth execution of client orders. As a key player in the operation, you will oversee the planning system, manage the logistics archive, and ensure efficient workflow for the warehouse team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule orders using the warehouse management system (WMS)
- Collaborate with the Assistant Planner to ensure smooth order processing
- Co-ordinate with clients, hauliers, and warehouse staff to maintain efficient operations
- Issue instructions to forklift truck drivers and pickers
- Monitor schedules, adjusting as necessary to meet targets
- Resolve issues and anomalies in collaboration with the site manager
- Process administrative data related to logistical activities
- Manage and oversee logistics employees

- Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings
- Share knowledge and best practices with other company sites
- Continuously work on personal development and performance
Requirements:
- Basic numeracy and English language skills
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and planning tools
- Experience using various computer systems and software
- Ability to work a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (days)
