THE POST - Food Service Assistant
The catering services team within Ayr Campus are expanding as the new Student Union Hub is opening in September 2024. This is an exciting time to join this team and expand on your existing skillset. You will be engaging with customers and complying with licensing laws. The postholder will be responsible for preparing food, merchandising and ensuring all workstations are clean. The shift pattern for these roles may vary on a weekly basis. This would be discussed in further detail in an interview.
The successful candidate should have the following:
- Customer Service Experience
- Working knowledge of EPOS tills
- Teamwork
- Experience in basic food preparation
- Ability to work under pressure & excellent communication skills
Please note that these 10-20-hour contracts & evening/weekend work may be required.
