Salary: Upto £50,000

Role Overview:

Managing a London portfolio of three commercial buildings, we are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager with a background in operational management, to work in a high-end, corporate environment.

The Facilities Operations Manager is a role dedicated to the delivery of the services and communication with key stakeholders. You will take information from the helpdesk and transform them into valuable insight, feeding back frequently to each key stakeholder.

You will constantly innovate existing operational protocols and develop them to improve the workplace experience, for both client and colleagues. You will be responsible for all service lines in contract for the site, such as Hard Services, Soft Services, Mail & Courier, Cleaning, Security and Finance

Role responsibilities:

  • Responsible for taking customer and client feedback and combining this with shared best practice and performance data, to create a world class workplace experience.
  • Set and maintain high standards of service output and customer engagement so that client expectations are consistently exceeded.
  • Ensure the high-quality presentation of all internal and external building areas to guarantee a positive user experience throughout the estate.
  • Be the key point of contact for Clients and Customers with regards to service delivery and workplace experience; for resolving any questions, queries or issues and liaising with the Head of FM as required for escalation, feedback and support.
  • Responsible for everything that goes on within your remit, from HR, Finance and Contracts to being a Subject Matter Expert on service lines.

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Experience in a similar role, managing large estates and buildings. We will consider candidates from the hotel and estates maintenance background.
  • Excellent knowledge of facilities maintenance, along with experience in hard and soft services and engineering & maintenance operations.
  • Resilient and confident in dealing with people at all levels.
  • Ability to work on and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Have Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and a high level of IT literacy.
