Trainee Role – Manufacturing technician

Hours: 39 hours per week – Day Shift

We are seeking motivated individuals to join the team of an industry leading business. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop in a highly specialised field, with structured training both on and offsite to become a fully qualified Technician.
The role:
- Hands-On Learning: Inspect machined components under expert supervision to detect corrosion, cracks, and flaws, ensuring top-notch product quality.
- Team Support: Assist with department planning, daily checks, and other key tasks within the Department.
- Safety First: Promote and practice a safety-first culture in all your actions.
- Project Involvement: Play an active role in specific projects
The person:
- Skills: Above-average mathematical ability, proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and a strong willingness to learn new skills.
- Bonus Experience: Experience in an aerospace environment, prior work in an NDT department, or a qualification in Chemistry (GCSE or above) is a plus.
