Advertising Sales Executive

A large circulation publication is now looking for an Advertising Sales Executive to join their team on an initial 6 month contract. This is a busy hybrid role focusing on taking inbound orders from existing and repeat clients and pays up to £30,000 plus commission. The core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm with no evening or weekend work, and the option to work from home Monday and Friday. Apply Today!

This is the perfect role for a professional who has worked in a Telephone or Media Sales role, possibly within advertising, or a current Sales professional seeking a change and who is looking for a welcoming and friendly work environment closer to home in West London with the option for hybrid working. You will be performing some outbound sales (roughly 20%) to lapsed clients - with new sales leads provided for you. You'll also be working with an extensive database of previous clients, driving return sales, and bringing in new business. Apply Today!

As the successful Advertising Sales Executive, you will be:

  • Taking calls from clients - placing advertising orders.
  • Contacting current and lapsed clients to rebook advertising.
  • Canvassing potential new advertisers.
  • Sourcing sales leads from competitor magazines, online adverts, and show exhibitors.
  • Liaising and contributing advertorial ideas to the Magazine Production Team.
  • Performing Office Administration duties as required.

As the Advertising Sales Executive, you should have:

  • Prior experience in Telephone Sales or an inbound customer service position.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A flair for the creative and an interest in the work of the charity.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per year plus up to 20% of your annual salary in on-target commission, as well as a 1% commission on any new business you bring in. The working hours are from 9 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with the option for hybrid working 2 days a week. Apply Today!
