HR Co-ordinator

Are you looking for a new challenge within HR? Do you have at least 2 years working within HR and a broad experience of day-to-day HR operations?

You will be a sole point of contact on site for all day-to-day HR queries and will have the support of the wider group HR, working alongside an experienced HR BP. We'd ideally like to have at least 2 years' experience within HR.

Based just outside the city centre with ample parking. Hybrid working can be accommodated with ideally 3 days in the working environment.

DAY TO DAY:

  • Maintaining & conducting compliance checks, updating registers and liaising with 3rd parties.
  • Participating in and conducting background checks.
  • Managing the admin of staff recruitment, creating adverts, job specs, advertising roles, sifting with applications, ensuring line managers are following guidelines, interview schedules.
  • Ensuring panel are adhering to processes within guidelines, interviewing, taking references, preparing interview packs and panels, issuing contracts and offer letters, entering new starter details, inductions, receiving and storing application forms.
  • Preparing monthly payroll submissions, inputting submissions, ensuring relevant databases are updated, recording staff absences, producing monthly reports on absence.
  • Liaising with Trust board to prepare annual pay review, informing staff of changes, processing & communicating changes in pay / terms / contracts, organising annual staff inductions.
  • Keeping up to date with HR information, policies and procedures, keeping up to date with legislation, advising on maternity / paternity processes, managing sickness, monitoring probationary processes, advising on recruitment matters, maintaining staff records, processing leavers, right to work checks.

WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE:

  • Previous experience of working in a policy driven HR environment.
  • A good background of operational / generalist experience to include ER, performance management and employee development and training.
  • CIPD level 3 or Level 5 ideally.
  • A proactive & professional approach, a good listener who is empathetic.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficient IT user.
