Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Cardiff from September 2025. We welcome applications from teachers with a specialism in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics, who are committed to delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking science lessons tailored to a range of abilities
- Inspire curiosity and scientific thinking in a safe and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with national curriculum standards
- Contribute to department enrichment activities and whole-school science initiatives
Requirements:
- A recognised PGCE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification in Science
- Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is essential
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
