Previous Legal Aid Billing experience is essential for this role.
Duties include:
- Processing bills prepared by a costs draftsman/preparing bills
- Billing Legal Aid, Legal Help and private files
- Liaising with counsel and experts regarding disbursements
- Making applications and dealing with the Legal Aid Agency
- Liaising with partners, fee earners and support staff
