Contract - Workplace Security Specialist (VDI, Zscaler) - Hybrid/Cheshire - Inside IR35 - 6 months initial
We are supporting our well-known IT customer to look for Workplace Security Specialist (VDI, Zscaler) with a focus on desktop and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), along with expertise in Zscaler (a cloud security platform)
- Role: Workplace Security Specialist (VDI, Zscaler)
- Location: Hybrid/Cheshire (2 days onsite a week)
- Job type: Contract
- Duration: 6 months
- Strong in Banking/Financial Services background, enterprise environment
- Proven experience in a security role with a focus on desktop and VDI environments
- Proficiency in using security tools and technologies relevant to desktop and VDI environments.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler deployment and management.
- Act as a liaison between the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Foundation Service (GTIS), ensuring security is integrated effectively through strong partnerships and collaboration.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide strategic decisions.
- Demonstrates a proactive and influential mindset.
- Strong and resilient, capable of making informed decisions and standing by them.
- Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or specific Zscaler certifications (e.g., Zscaler Certified Cloud Administrator).
