Our client is a multi-academy trust based inManchester with schools across Manchester, Trafford, Salford and Knowsley. Theyare looking for someone to start asap on a temporary basis as a financeadmin until the end of September.
Your new role
As the finance admin, you will be responsiblefor purchasing and accountingprocesses and maintaining the accounting records of the school under thedirection of the Finance Manager.
- Processinginvoices
- Preparing BACS andcheque payment runs
- Updating suppliermaster records including bank account details as necessary
- Counting cash andpreparing paying in slips for banking
- Recording of PettyCash expenditure, cash control and replenishment
- Filing and archivingall primary financial documents
What you'll need to succeed
You will have:
- Experience of working in a accountingenvironment
- Team Player
- Experience of workingin a school environment/education
- Working knowledge ofPSF (desirable)
- Good attention todetail
