UK Marketing Manager

The UK Marketing Manager is responsible for leading the execution of agreed marketing
activities and activations in the UK for the client, across all marketing channels including digital,
social, events and CRM with the goal of increasing awareness, consideration, purchase,
engagement, ROI & business growth (consumer sales) every quarter in line with agreed budgets
and targets. This role requires a broad skillset across all marketing capabilities, as well as the
ability to think and act strategically and excel at hands on implementation. As a marketing
expert, your focus will be to deliver best in class marketing activity across all platforms. The role
will require the day-to-day management of marketing agency partners, as well as close
collaboration between Global and other regional Lingo and Corporate Abbott functions. This will
be an important role in building the client into a successful business in the UK, and will support the
UK Marketing Director and Head of Marketing in the delivery of impactful and effective marketing
activity.

Responsibilities

Define compelling consumer campaigns: Comprehensively define the proposition, benefits,
reasons to believe, and execution plans for Client for the UK market in collaboration with
the Client UK/EMEA Marketing team.
Partner closely with UK and Global Client marketing teams, advertising and digital
marketing partners to create and deliver impactful marketing campaigns for the UK.
Ensure alignment and approval of activity across functions at the client, including Medical, Legal
and Regulatory, and PA.
Create briefs for Internal creative and agency partners to develop advertising ideas which
power our business objectives.
Partner with the Insights team to test and confirm the effectiveness of the messaging and
value proposition with target audience, and apply learning to creative.
Transform Insights (including market and competitor insights, brand awareness
surveys, consumer qual and quant research incl. segmentation, and marketing
analytics data) into compelling marketing messages and executions that deliver
positive ROI.
Work with Clinical and regulatory teams to update and develop claims relevant to the UK,
based on market research
Be responsible for continual monitoring and optimisation of all marketing campaigns and
activity to ensure positive ROI and effective spend.
Responsible for compliance with applicable corporate and divisional policies and procedures.
Liaison with global stakeholders

Experience

Min 8-10 year's experience
Evidence of promotion to higher levels of responsibility in the marketing function is
required.
Must show evidence of knowledge and experience in the following competencies:
Marketing planning, campaign execution and management, digital marketing, Customer acquisition, e-commerce, CRM, events, brand awareness and experience of all funnel stages through to purchase.
The successful individual will be grounded in Direct-to-Consumer (DTC/B2C) experience at a minimum, but highly desired will be a candidate who also has experience with B2B. ·
Experience in consumer health sector, heath-tech, wearable or pharma categories. ·
Experience in a fast-paced start up environment is highly advantageous.Experience in a
regulated environment is advantageous.
