Regulatory Reporting Operations is a group who manage the transaction reporting completeness, timeliness, and accuracy, ensuring Deutsche Bank successfully reports to multiple regulatory authorities. You will be in a client facing role that leads the delegated reporting that DB offers to clients. We have a focus on the accuracy of this reporting, and the ongoing relationships with these clients, and are seeking candidates who will review large data sets and agreeing on the quality and correctness of our reporting data. Where issues found, propose solutions and deliver change, whilst engaging effectively with the client and internal stakeholders to influence successful outcomes.

Your key responsibilities

  • As a member of the Client Delegated Reporting team, acting as central points of contact for client query resolution with internal and external clients, with emphasis on the reconciliation, resolution and ongoing management of the client and stakeholder relationships
  • Articulating progress of investigations and resolution back to clients or internal Relationship Management
  • Performing root cause analysis on clients' reporting issues - reviewing data from upstream source systems, internal reports and submissions to trade repositories, and working closely with internal departments to follow through to their resolution
  • Supporting the client delegated functions, including query tracking, resource management, people development, and process design
  • Delivering control and governance enhancements, including production of both regular and ad hoc Management Information (MI)

Your skills and experience

  • An analytical mind-set with experience of and a good approach to problem solving.
  • Strong communication skills and preferably experience engaging with clients, both written and verbal, in a collaborative and professional manner
  • A solid and robust control orientated background and comfortable with Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify anomalies/deficiencies and design solutions to mitigate these.
  • Ability to effectively maintain, coordinate, prioritise multiple tasks and projects
  • A clear understanding of how to represent/communicate information or evidence in a manner which is appropriate for differing audiences
