Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and implement effective training and development programs tailored to the needs of the organisation, enhancing employee skills and performance.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring all programs deliver maximum return on investment.
- Conduct skills gap analyses to identify learning needs across all levels of the organisation.
- Collaborate with department managers to create and implement bespoke training solutions.
- Oversee the maintenance of all mandatory training records and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and instructors, implementing improvements where necessary.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in corporate training and development.
- Facilitate engaging learning activities and workshops for employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training suppliers and consultants.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the L&D team to achieve outstanding results.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager or similar role.
- Strong understanding of effective teaching methodologies and tools.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals.
- Good computer and database skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for continuous professional development and fostering a learning culture.
