Our client, based in Bridge of Don, are looking for Storesperson, for a full time permanent role. This will be an entry level position, and will be the perfect opportunity for the right candidate as there will be a great opportunity for progression.
The Storeperson will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work independently, and possess excellent organizational skills.
Duties many include:
- Receive incoming goods, check for damages and discrepancies between the delivery note and goods received.
- Ensure all goods are stored in appropriate locations within the warehouse or store.
- Maintain accurate records of goods received and dispatched.
- Pick and pack goods for dispatch according to orders received.
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurately packed, labeled, and accompanied by the necessary paperwork.
- Assist with inventory control and stock take activities.
- Keep the warehouse or store clean and organized at all times.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to management promptly.
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
