Finance Assistant | £16 - £19 per hour (umbrella) | Interim | Greater Manchester | Hybrid:
Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Public Sector organisation in Greater Manchester who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their team on an interim basis to provide support during their busy period. The role offers hybrid working.
Duties:
- Allocate invoices to account receivable and account payable ledgers
- Process all payments in a timely manner
- Liaise with wider finance teams such as Accounts Payable and Credit Control to resolve all banking and payment related queries
- Produce weekly bank reconciliations and ensure customer cheque receipts are banked accurately
- Record all activity related to banking and payments
Experience:
- Previous experience working in transactional finance roles
- Industry experience working within the wider public sector
- Strong excel skills with ability to preform V-LOOK UPS and PIVOT tables
- Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
